Hi,
I am a great fan of Live CDs. "Great" meaning even trying to find out facts about CDs other wouldn't even bother to think about. And now as I found "Live in Aspen" I am trying to find out some more facts about it. So I hope someone can help me and provide the information I am looking for.
On the last tour with Michael Hutchence I do know there were two ladies doing the background vocals. One of which I am to almost a hundred percent sure must have been Tania Hancheroff. Right? Who was the other?
I really do hope you can help me out with this one.

I just found a recording from possibly the band's first concert as INXS back in September 1979.
The track listing is Love is the Drug, Learn to Smile, In the Traffic, Falling, In vain, Miss Shapiro-You Really Got Me, Wake Up, Simple Simon, Silent Night, Telefone, Wishy Washy and We are the Vegetables.
I heave never seen the track called In The Traffic listed in an INXS track list before ( I think that is the title?).
It was recorded by a mate of mine who was INXS's roadie at the time.
I wish I knew how to let all the INXS fans out there hear how great INXS sounded when they were a youg Aussie pub band all those years ago. Any ideas please? I only have the one copy.

Inxs is niet meer dezelfde groep als vroeger met Michael. nu worden de Europese tours afgelast, de cd is hier ook al niet te vinden, dat zou met Michael nooit gebeurt zijn,en de UK waar denken ze dat het ligt, dat is ook Europa, die vlucht kan Tim dan wel doen met zijn kwetsuren, dit zegt in ieder geval genoeg. Had 4 tickets, dan maar terugsturen,hé, spijtig dat het op zo'n manier moet gebeuren maar ik ken alleen de vroegere INXS

INXS zou 13 oct in de HMH spelen. Ik wilde 2 weken daarvoor kaarten kopen maar bleek 1 van de broertjes de enkelbanden gescheurd te hebben. Toch jammer dat ze op dezelfde avond, 13 october, in de Sharon Osbourne Show opgetreden te hebben. Bijzonder om je fans zo in de zeik te zetten. Het oude INXS is blijkbaar niet meer. Dat bleek al uit het commerciele gedrocht 'Rockstar'..... Jammer Jammer

1 - You mention quite a few songs I've NEVER heard of, and I'm an avid collector of INXS B-sides and such. Could you let me know where you got info on songs like "Lucky Keyring"??? (as well as quite a few others I've NEVER heard of!) And where I may be able to find a copy? Suggestion: List the source with the name of the song.
2 - You asked to post here if you are missing any songs from that list. Well, right away I see only two versions of Heaven Sent listed, but there are 3. The versions are:
Heaven Sent (normal album/single version)
Heaven Sent (Gliding Version)
Heaven Sent (Waltz Version)

There's also a ton of remixes of various tracks (some of which are VERY good by the way (like By My Side - Movie Mix and Taste It - Youth Accapella), and some aren't (like a bunch of horrible dance remixes for the EW tracks)), but looks like you're only listing only main songs and actual alternate versions.

By the way, I'm still looking through the site, so if the answer to this question is already listed, sorry, just haven't seen it yet.

Goed om te zien dat nog zoveel mensen INXS een warm hart toedragen. Ik ben een fan van het eerste uur dat ze in Nederland doorbraken. Moet ze nog dagelijks even horen. Michael Hutchence's stem blijf ik missen, maar gelukkig zijn er de andere bandleden nog om de herinnering aan hem levend te houden en de muziek lenedig te houden. Het is inmiddels bijna zeven jaar geleden dat Michael overleed. Na al die jaren kan ik het nog steeds niet geloven. Zijn solo album is zeker de moeite waard. Jammer dat Jon Stevens zijn uiterste best deed om op Michael te lijken, gezien op Night of The Proms. Hij was zeker niet slecht maar waarom bleef hij niet wat meer zichzelf. Deze vraag is inderdaad eerder gesteld, maar waarom was Andrew er niet bij. Ben benieuwd hoe het nu verder gaat met INXS in hun zoektocht naar een nieuwe leadzanger. Niemand zal ooit Michael kunnen evenaren met zijn unieke stemgeluid. MICHAEL FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Ik ben erg blij om te zien dat hier in nederland nog staads fans zijn van inxs. Ik krijg af en toe het gevoel dat ik hier de enigste ben. Ik ben echt helemaal fan, al 14 jaar!!! night of the proms was dan ook helemaal te gek!!!! There have been 6 years since we lost our Michael and it still very much hurts!
I don't think i'll ever forget that awful day!
I know one thing: it may pass 20 years but I'll always remember Michael!
He was the kind of man, the kind of artist that once you saw, once you heard, he can never leave your system!
So, everyone out there keep loving Michael and honour his memory as he honoured us with his divine voice!

Hallo INXS fans, hier even een update. Ik heb afgelopen 13 juli de INXS guys persoonlijk ontmoet in Merzig (Duitsland) en dat was heel erg gaaf. Bij deze wil ik Karine (French INXS site) nogmaals bedanken voor alles! Binnenkort zien jullie wat foto's verschijnen op deze site. Garry vertelde me dat Night of the Proms definitief doorgaat; daar was nog wat onzekerheid over (zie een aantal berichten hieronder). Rock leeft weer! We hebben INXS voor het eerst sinds jaren weer live zien optreden op 8 juni 2003 in Aalborg (Denemarken) en op 12 juli in Weert (Bospop). Alle andere concerten van de laatste jaren, behalve U2, verbleken hierbij...

ik neem aan dat julie ook uit je dak zijn gegaan gister op bospop!!
het was echt kij gaaf..
ik hoop dat inxs een goeie indruk heeft gekregen van het publiek zodat ze gauw weer trug komen
prachtigge opnening met andrew farris spelend "by my side"
en het op gedragen nummer voor micheal "never tear us apart" emotioneel!!
ik ben inxs fan sinds 1988- en blijf van tot de dag dat ik sterf!!!
favorite album is "THE SWING!!"
het eerste album waarmee ik inxs leerde kennen.
eigenlijk door de film "sharkey's paradise" daarin kwamen ins nummers voor..."melting in the sun"
hoe dan ook inxs 4 ever!!

Ik heb het ook gezien en op het messageboard gezet, Nathan melde daarna dat dit geen juiste info was, Ik heb vanochtend iemand van Mojo concerts gebeld. Die zei dat inxs elke avond optreed en ongeveer vier nummers speelt. Nathan zal pas bevestigen denk ik als het officieel op the site staat. Hoe dan ook, ik ga!!

Leuk dat je in mijn gastenboek geschreven heb, zal er vanavond op reageren. Ik ken INXS niet zo goed, hoewel ik wel een liefhebber ben van pop-muziek. U2, Springsteen, Coldplay, Migala bijvoorbeeld. Hey everyone!! All of you can do me and all the other dutch fans a really big favor! In holland there's a television show called "de 10" and you can vote there for your alltime fav's in a top ten. For example; most beautifull women ever, biggest playboys ever and the top ten for the funerals which had most impact on people. Michael Hutchence's funeral is nominated and if it will end in the top ten, all the dutch people who watch the show will see a bit of the funeral for a few minutes. Maybe it's really weird to ask you to vote for this but I really would do anything to see something that has to do with INXS on dutch television. Maybe you can imagine that i was really dissapointed when there was nothing on INXS's 25th anniversary on dutch telly, so every sec I can watch MH, INXS or anything/one that can be related to INXS or MH makes my day!!!!
PLEASE VOTE!!! HELP TO MAKE THIS LIL GIRLS DAY!!!
